Some times we need a reminder that we are the only thing in creation God created after His image, and that He sent His Son to save us and restore His image in us, which sin distorted.

I saw the sign

The Love In Action Minute: A homeless man in Dothan saw our Love In Action sign on Main Street and he said he knew that's where he needed to stop. He experienced Jesus that day and he gave his life to Jesus. That is always the first key step to seeing the homeless come off the streets and be homeless no more. It takes time and patience, but it's so worth it when you see a life transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.

A Changed Life

In this Love In Action Minute, you will hear about a homeless woman we had been showing the love of Jesus to for a few years. Then one day she came to Martha and Ken and said, "I want to change my life." She gave her life to Jesus and we were able to get her the help she needed and wanted. It takes time, but when we are patient and treat others with respect and the love of Jesus, we will see lives transformed.

Life Is A Vapor

James 4:14 tells us, "You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.” Life is fragile. Life passes by so fast. We are here today and gone tomorrow. Do you know where you are going when your tomorrow comes and your vapor vanishes away? It will be to one of two places, either Heaven or Hell. Both are real places. Today Ken teaches on Hell and why you do not want to go there and how you can be assured of Heaven.

God healed me from cancer

Today is testimony day on the Love In Action Podcast as Ken shares his testimony of God healing him from cancer. For nine years Ken had prostate cancer, but not today. There were complications along the way, even after the surgery, but God did the miraculous to heal Ken from stage 3 cancer.
